Monmouth RFC are excited to announce that Chay Billen will continue to lead the 1st XV squad as head coach for the upcoming 2022/23 season. It promises to be a great year of celebrations for club that will celebrate its 150th year in 2023.

Chay commented “I am looking forward to be coaching this young group of players in what will be a special season for the club, both on and off the field”.

Andrew Davies, Chairman said “It is fantastic for the club that we have been able to secure Chay as head coach for another season, his drive, professionalism and understanding of grass roots rugby will be hugely beneficial to us as a club, right through from our young rugby section to our 1st XV squad”.

“2023 will see our clubs 150th year anniversary, so we are hoping to have a successful season to mark our 150th year. We have plans for several celebratory events that will be held at Monmouth RFC Clubhouse over the coming season”.
